Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. The majority of her childhood listening to classic music Boleros from the past, traditional ranchero or romantic songs, as well classic classical music. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as any form of dramatic performance. After singing with her mom at the age of 12, she took up more rigorous singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. As a student and young professional, she was a part of various chamber groups as well as opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After moving to America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she moved to southern California. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events, performing traditional Latin American Music. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects because of her passion and love for music. Ana has been a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
